SRT 8210 is the perfect receiver for terrestrial programmes in HD and SD. The receiver integrates the High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) technology, also known as “H.265”, for greater diversity in the channel range and broader visual benefits of High Definition. By connecting the receiver to the Internet via Ethernet you can access RSS feeds and weather forecasts and there is also a USB port for playback of different multimedia files. Watching TV with SRT 8210 is a delight and just more fun! Upgrade your receiver functionality by adding the recording and Timeshift function (v 2.2.4 REC available here).

    After moving the receiver to another room/area you are no longer able to receive digital reception

    Antenna signals are too weak
    The signal strength/quality might be less than before, if using an indoor antenna.

    Press [INFO] on the remote control 2x to keep the signal bars on screen and adjust the antenna for (maximum) reception. Alternatively, do a rescan of the channels.
    When using an active antenna, check antenna power setting {On}
    Try to use an outdoor antenna.

    The receiver switches off automatically.

    Auto Standby function enabled.

    Disable auto standby. See section <7.3.7> for details.

    Playback of video  is causing picture freeze/macro blocks or similar distortion, especially on HD content.

    Read speed of your USB device could be too low.

    Make sure to use a USB storage device with sufficient speed and space. Pen drives (‘USB sticks’) may not support sufficient speed.
